When you enrol a student and allocate one subscription to their enrolment, a ‘1’ will appear in the subscription column and the expiry date will be the date you enrolled the student.
However, once the student logs in for the first time and starts one of the course lessons, the subscription value will change to a zero and the expiry date will advance according to the length of the licence you have purchased (usually one year).
So if a zero is shown in the subscription column, it does not mean that a student has no subscription. Check the expiry date, because if this is a date that has not yet been reached then the student still has access to the course.
When the expiry date is reached, if the student wants to continue to use the course they will not be able to do so unless you give them another subscription.
If you give a student two subscriptions, then when they log in and start one of the lessons, the administration system will automatically calculate the expiry date as two years ahead in the case of a one-year subscription period.
