Click here to open a document that shows the hierarchical structure of the Typequick Courseware Administration System.
This example shows the set-up for a customer with an account called TKS. This customer could be a school, college or business. The customer has ordered a Typequick courseware licence containing 500 student subscriptions.
The Main Administrator (orange block) for the account will log in by entering TKS as their user name. They will also need to enter a password. The Main Administrator can then set up various Administrator Accounts or student groups (pink blocks), for example to represent different classes or departments. They will give each Administrator Account a different name, e.g., YEAR7, and set a password for the administrator. For example the Account Administrator for YEAR7 will log-in as TKS.YEAR7 and will need to enter their password.
The Main Administrator will need to put sufficient student courseware subscriptions into each Administrator Account. If the customer has purchased the Skill Evaluator typing test option, they may also allocate Skill Evaluator subscriptions to some or all of the Administrator Accounts.
The administrator for each Administrator Account will enrol students in that Account. They will give each Student a user name and a password and add at least one subscription to the Student’s enrolment. Students must each have a different user name, like the examples in the green boxes.
