3 Course Options

Which course would you like? (Please tick one of the three options)
Your school can choose to have access to one or both courses. Having both courses enables you to select either the 'Typequick for Students' or 'Typequick Professional' courses for your learners. This is useful if you want to offer the course to a wider age-range of pupils, or if you would like staff to have the option to learn to type, as well as pupils.

# Optional Extras

Skill evaluator typing tests
Skill Evaluator is an optional extra. It is approved by Open Awards as the typing assessment tool to be used when delivering their Level 1 and Level 2 typing qualifications. It provides automated timed typing tests usually lasting 5 minutes, but you can choose to set them from 2 to 10 minutes. You get two tests and two practice tests for every student and they can attempt these whenever you wish them to. It is usually best for students to do the first test at the beginning of their course or a few days after they have started some lessons and the second test at the end of their course to measure their improvement. They’ll see an immediate result on screen and a report of their test will be saved in your administration system. You can also print a personalised (unaccredited) Certificate of Achievement for each student that shows their name and test score, but for students taking the tests for qualifications, they will receive an accredited Certificate from Open Awards.

Student enrolment service
To get you and your learners off to a flying start, why not take advantage of our Student Enrolment Service at the outset? This is a one-off service provided when you first take up an annual licence and will save you time setting up the system. Simply send us a list of your learners’ names in groups (e.g., year groups, classes or department name) and we will create the groups and enrol all your learners for you. This will result in each of your learners being allocated their own user name and password. If your learners have their own personal email address, their log-in details will be automatically emailed to them.
