Our mission is simple – we want to teach Britain to type!

Type&Test was established in 2005 after Andy Stevenson, the Managing Director, recognised that, whilst millions of people in the UK use a computer, the vast majority of them can’t touch type.  As the keyboard remains, by far, the dominant method for inputting text when using a personal computer (PC), it seems to us to be a ‘no brainer’ that all PC users should learn to type properly.  Yet many people still hold the out-of-date view that typing is only for secretaries.  That is ancient history – let’s face it, we are all typists now!

Type&Test is the exclusive distributor of Typequick – the award winning software developed in Sydney, Australia, that has been teaching children and adults around the world to touch type for nearly 30 years.  In the UK, we supply Typequick products to schools, colleges, universities, employers and individuals all over the country from our offices in Bedford and Huntingdon.
