When it comes to touch-typing training, Pitman Training is frequently the first name on many people’s lips. Founded over 100 years ago (and famous over the years for training an army of secretaries in shorthand and typing) the company delivers a wide range of computing and work-related skills training courses, many of which lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Amongst the courses Pitman Training offers is ‘typaz’, their flagship touch typing training programme.
Pitman’s standards are exacting, so we are proud to report that they selected Type&Test as their partner on the ‘typaz’ program, after extensively evaluating the Typequick Professional courseware. Students opting for typaz are given a structured path to follow through the typaz courseware, a comprehensive workbook containing a wealth of additional training material, and ongoing support and encouragement from a Pitman Training advisor. Students also have the option to go for the BCS ‘e-type’ Certificate at Level 1 and Level 2.
There are around 100 Pitman Training Centres, so there is bound to be one near you! To find out more about Pitman’s touch typing training courses, click here.
